So, I’m gonna keep this short, and let the images speak for themselves. I’m a bit beat from my work on this today! Suffice it to say, if you go looking in flower forests or sunflower fields, you will find as many bees as your heart may desire–within reason. Plus, you’ll find some bee-autiful loot, to boot!
To install, simply place the zip file (still zipped) in your Minecraft world’s “datapacks” folder.
If you can’t travel all the way to a flower biome, never fear. The GC3 also adds in extra bees (with normal sized beehives) that can be found in a variety of biomes (especially oak, dark oak, birch, and jungle forests). Although rare, I’ve included a photo of bees found in a snowy taiga forest, so you can see that even frigid biomes have a small chance of a bee community.
This subterranean species of bee burrows deep into the caves, so you might find some while mining. Bee careful!
Also, if you want doom bees…just turn on doom mode. Big thanks to Vacant for helping me figure out how to make the bees stay angry in doom mode! Perhaps they are zom-bees? Anyway, I warned ya.
Your adventuring companion,
P.S. Also of note, this update fixes a bug in which I accidentally had the ice spikes biome identified as swamp. This was from a typo, and has been fixed. But where one bug is fixed, another bug is sure to follow, as this update proves.
